Hurley eyes highway garage location, not deterred by artifact findings - By Daily Freeman

Supervisor Michael Boms proposes erecting a new town Highway Department garage near a former facility at the Dug Hill Road closed landfill and is not deterred by indications that Native American artifacts are nearby at the site.

During a telephone interview Wednesday, Boms said there are two proposed sites close to each other near the former town garage along an access road that connects to small clearings where the new facility is proposed.
