Hurley Town Hall to Host Free Narcan Training - by Kingston Wire

On Saturday, April 20, Hurley Town Hall will be hosting a free training session on how to use Narcan. This training is geared towards helping people suffering from opioid overdoses.

At 1 p.m., a representative of the Ulster County Department of Mental Health will explain what Narcan is and how it works. The representative will also explain how to recognize an opioid overdose.

There will also be a Q&A period and free Narcan kits will be given out to those who want one.

The training is free and no appointment is necessary. It is expected to last between 60 and 90 minutes. Hurley Town Hall is at 10 Wamsley Place, Hurley.
